Thesidetracked was launched in late 2008 with intentions of highlighting what we thought wasn’t getting enough shine in underground and mainstream music platforms. The site is also known as the internet hub for New Jersey hip hop music. We mesh quality music from the likes of you favorite artist’s with some underground and mainstream New Jersey artists. We have a great ear for music and will know if you have something that is worthwhile for us to support if you’re an up-and-coming artist.

Thesidetracked is co-responsible for breaking few but very great artists such as Donny Goines, St. Joe Louis, D. Julien, Wordsmith & 1st Class. The site has grown into a community of hip hop enthusiasts who love and support generally the same artists we do. The site has surpassed all expectations we initially had and we look to take it further as each day goes on.
